Worked on the casting of Mike Edwards’s Delville Wood Panel at the Mariani Foundry, Petrasanta, Italy.

Enrols at the University of Pretoria, Department of Fine Art.

Receives first prize for New Signatures Exhibition, Pretoria and is accepted on the Ralph’s Impressions Exhibition, National Gallery, Cape Town.
- 1989
Receives Merit Award for sculpture on the New Signatures Exhibition, Pretoria.
Portland Cement Institute Sculpture Award.
Graduates from University of Pretoria BA (FA) honours
Co-founded IMI Sculpture Studio CC with Mike Edwards.
